Dispatch / Route optimization

Re-order the day's stops,
without rebuilding the route.

One button re-orders every open stop on a route — by distance or by priority — while completed stops stay put and every pickup still lands before its delivery. No external optimizer required. 78,000+ stops on the board so far.

Optimization you can steer

Optimize controls

Order the stops by distance — or by what matters most

Run it by distance for the shortest next valid stop, or by priority so high-priority freight goes first and distance only breaks ties. Pin the stop the driver should hit next, start from the truck's live position if you run Samsara, and hold problem stops out of the re-order.

  • Optimize by distance or by priority
  • Pin the first stop, or start from the truck
  • Hold problem stops out of the re-order

The pending pool

Work the unassigned queue, not a spreadsheet

Everything still waiting for a truck sits in one queue. Narrow it to a state, a city or a postcode, pick a date, or type an order number, a customer or a street. The filter runs server-side, so it searches the whole pool, not the page you can see.

  • Filter by state, city or postcode
  • Pick a date, or search order or customer
  • Ranked route suggestions for a pickup

Partial assignment

Put half the load on one truck, half on another

An item quantity can be split across stops, and each piece is assignable to its own route. What is still unallocated shows as a count on the order, so a part-loaded order is visible before the truck leaves. A failed attempt drops the rest back into the queue with a reason and a re-attempt date.

  • Split an item's quantity across stops
  • Move one stop to another truck
  • Unallocated quantity flagged on the order

Tolls

Avoid tolls per route — and price the ones you take

Avoid tolls is a switch on the route itself, not a company-wide setting, so the one load that cannot run the turnpike is handled without changing anything else. When a quote is priced, the estimated toll cost and the number of tolls come through as their own cost line.

  • Per-route avoid-tolls switch
  • Toll cost and count on the quote
  • Axle count set once, per company

Where route optimization pays

No optimizer to buy

The built-in optimizer runs with nothing else connected — nothing to set up before you can re-order a route.

Drivers get the new order

A re-ordered route pushes to the driver app, so nobody is working yesterday's stop list.

Constraints hold

Pickups stay ahead of their deliveries, and completed stops keep their place in the sequence.

See it on your own freight.

Book a demo and we'll optimize one of your real routes on the board — by distance, then by priority, and again after a load drops in.
