This policy applies to all users of our services, including business customers using our logistics management platform and drivers using our mobile application for work distribution, geolocation, and communication.
For SaaS Platform Users

- Fleet Data: Vehicle information, driver assignments, route data, and delivery information you input into the platform.

For Driver Mobile App Users
Information We Collect

- Location Data: Real-time GPS location while the app is in use for route tracking, delivery verification, and work distribution. Location tracking may continue in the background during active work sessions.
- Vehicle Information: Details about assigned vehicles, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Work Data: Job assignments, delivery status, hours worked, and task completion records.
- Communication: In-app messages between drivers, dispatchers, and customers.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and push notification tokens.
- Photos and Media: Images captured for proof of delivery, vehicle inspections, and incident documentation.
How We Use Driver Information
- Enable real-time tracking and navigation for deliveries
- Distribute and manage work assignments
- Facilitate communication between drivers and dispatch
- Process vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Verify delivery completion and capture proof of delivery
- Calculate work hours and performance metrics
- Provide turn-by-turn navigation and route optimization

Important Notice About Location Tracking
The driver app uses GPS and location services to enable core functionality. Location tracking is active during work hours and may run in the background while you're on duty. You can disable location services in your device settings, but this will impact app functionality.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Your Employer (for Drivers): Work-related data, location during work hours, and performance metrics are shared with the company that employs you through RushHour.
- Service Providers: We work with trusted third parties who assist in providing our services (hosting, analytics, payment processing).
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information.
Data Security
We protect your data using:
- TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- Multi-factor authentication (available in Settings)

Children's Privacy
RushHour services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@rushhourapp.com and we will delete such information from our systems.
Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and personal data by contacting info@rushhourapp.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.
To request deletion:
- Email info@rushhourapp.com from your registered email
- Include your full name and account information
- Specify "Account Deletion Request" in subject line
Please note that some information may be retained as required by law for tax, legal, or regulatory compliance purposes (e.g., payroll records for 7 years). Location data and work history will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
Location Tracking Controls
For Driver App Users:
You can manage location sharing in the app Settings menu. Please note:
- Background location tracking is ONLY active during your scheduled work shifts
- Location sharing can be disabled, but this will prevent route optimization and may affect job assignments
- Your employer will be notified if you disable location tracking
- Location data is retained for 90 days after each trip, then automatically deleted
- You can view your location history in the app at any time
To disable location tracking:
- Open app Settings
- Navigate to Privacy & Location
- Toggle "Share Location" off
Note: Disabling location tracking may impact your ability to receive job assignments and route optimization features.
Employer Data Access (Driver App Users)
By using the Driver App, you explicitly consent to share the following information with your employer/fleet manager:
- Real-time location during active shifts
- Delivery completion status
- Work hours and shift attendance
- Performance metrics (on-time delivery rate, etc.)
Your employer CANNOT access:
- Personal messages or communications
- Location data when off-duty
- Health or medical information
- Personal contact information beyond what you provide
You may revoke employer access by contacting info@rushhourapp.com, though this may affect your employment status.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Contract Performance: To provide our services as agreed
- Legitimate Interest: To improve our services and ensure safety
- Legal Obligation: To comply with tax, employment, and transportation laws
- Consent: For marketing communications and optional features

- Backup copies: Removed within 90 days of deletion request
