Dark route map, route chat from the map and a date filter for issues
Driver app 2.0.5 gives the route map's Default view a dark style when the app is in dark mode, adds a chat button on the route map that opens the route's conversation and shows its unread count, and lets drivers filter their issue history by date. This version was released for Android on Google Play; iPhone drivers got these changes with version 2.0.12 on the App Store, on September 29, 2026.

The route map's Default view goes dark in dark mode
When the app is in dark mode, the route map's Default view now uses a dark style instead of staying bright, and street names and house numbers stay readable. The route map opens in the Hybrid view, which shows satellite imagery and is not restyled, so pick Default from the map's layers button to see the dark map. This applies to the Google map; on iPhone, companies that use the phone's own map (Apple Maps) keep its usual look.

Open a route's chat from the map
A chat button on the route map opens that route's conversation and shows how many messages you haven't read. Reading the conversation there or in the chat list clears the count in both places. The button appears once the route's chat has been created.

Filter your issue history by date
The My Issues tab of Issues & Violations has a new Date filter next to Status, Category and Urgency: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days, or Any date to see every issue.
